In terms of build materials and design, DJI is fantastic. The audio quality is very good, and its compatibility with other products from the same brand is excellent. With iPhone, iPad, and Xiaomi, it can only be used with the receiver connected to the devices; wireless use requires a third-party app. Overall, it's a 9 out of 10 product, as DJI itself offers better products in higher ranges, but outside of DJI, it has no competition. Perhaps the Boya Mic 2 and Hollyland. A very good, easy-to-use product.

Not necessarily. With DJI OsmoAudio™ technology, you can connect the transmitter directly to an Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without a receiver. To use it with other cameras or smartphones, you will need the receiver included in the kit.

How long does the battery last?

The complete system with the charging case offers up to 48 hours of total use. Additionally, with just 5 minutes of rapid charging, you get 1 hour of recording, so you never run out of battery at important moments.

Does it work outdoors with background noise?

Yes. The DJI Mic Mini has two noise cancellation levels: Basic mode for quiet indoors and Strong mode for noisy environments such as streets, events, or open spaces. The 400-meter range ensures a stable signal regardless of the environment.
